LPL wanted a mobile solution, and they wanted it fast—they wanted to demonstrate excitement and regain leadership at an Advisor conference five weeks away.

Data at their fingertips— anytime, anywhere, any place.Recognizing speed to market and ease of use were critical to the app’s success, our consultants developed a minimum viable product concept, one that would serve the most common needs of advisors on the road, and be available from multiple device platforms. With functional requirements in place, we designed the app around the best use of SMAC:
- Social: Financial research and market data available through Twitter, Facebook and YouTube feeds.
- Mobile: A mobile hybrid design that took advantage of key features of both Apple and Android devices.
- Analytics: App usage and performance metrics to guide continuous refinement.
